This policy explains how the PulseDesk website (mypulsedesk.com), the PulseDesk dashboard (app.mypulsedesk.com) and the desktop applications use cookies and similar browser storage. It is provided by Londonist Yazılım ve Teknolojileri A.Ş. ("PulseDesk", "we").
1. In short
- We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not use third-party tracking pixels, advertising networks or social media plug-ins.
- We use a small amount of browser storage (localStorage) that is strictly necessary to provide what you ask for - such as keeping you signed in - or to remember a choice you made, such as your language or your cookie choice.
- Our website uses optional, first-party analytics (run on our own servers, never shared with third parties) only if you accept it in the cookie banner. Without your consent we only count anonymous page views, without storing anything on your device. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
2. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. "localStorage" is a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of data on your device. Neither is sent to us automatically with every request, and the data stays on your device until it is removed.
3. Storage on our website (mypulsedesk.com)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| pd_site_lang | localStorage | Remembers the website language you chose, so we do not suggest another one again | Until you clear it |
| pd_consent | localStorage | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we don't ask again on every page | 6 months |
| pd_vid | localStorage | Analytics (only with your consent): a random visitor ID, so repeat visits are counted once | Until you reject analytics or clear it (data on our side: 13 months) |
| pd_session | localStorage | Analytics (only with your consent): a random ID for the current visit | 30 minutes of inactivity |
| pd_attr_first, pd_attr_last | localStorage | Analytics (only with your consent): how you first and most recently found our website (referring site and campaign parameters such as utm_source), so we can see which channels bring customers | Until you reject analytics or clear it |
The website loads all its fonts, images and scripts from our own servers. The demo form sends your details to us only when you submit it.
Website analytics
Without your consent (before you choose, if you click "Reject", or if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal) we only count page views anonymously: the page, its language, the type of device and whether you came from another website. Nothing is stored on your device and no identifier is used.
With your consent we also record, using the identifiers above: the pages you visit, the referring website and campaign parameters (utm_*), where on a page you click (for heatmaps - never what you type into forms), how far you scroll, how long a page is open, clicks on links such as "Start free" or "Book a demo", and whether a demo or contact form was sent (not its contents). If you then sign up, the source of your visit is passed to the sign-up page (in the "pd_attr" link parameter) and saved with your new company account.
In both cases we work out your approximate country from your IP address on our own server, using a geolocation database stored there (IP geolocation by DB-IP.com); the IP address itself is never stored. Automated traffic (bots) is ignored. Detailed analytics data is kept for 13 months, after which only totals without identifiers remain. If you withdraw your consent, the identifiers are removed from your browser.
4. Storage in the PulseDesk dashboard (app.mypulsedesk.com)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| desktime.token | localStorage | Keeps you signed in (your sign-in token) | Until you sign out or it expires |
| desktime.theme, desktime.uiStyle | localStorage | Your light/dark theme and interface style | Until you clear it |
| pulsedesk.locale, pulsedesk.locale.picked | localStorage | The language you chose before signing in | Until you clear it |
| pulsedesk.callBackground, pulsedesk.callBackgroundImage, pulsedesk.callQuality | localStorage | Your camera background and video quality choices for calls and meetings | Until you clear it |
| pulsedesk.chatSections, pulsedesk.recentEmojis, pulsedesk.drive.layout, pulsedesk.meetingsView | localStorage | Interface preferences: collapsed chat sections, recently used emojis, Drive and Meetings layout | Until you clear it |
| pulsedesk.guestName | localStorage | The name a meeting guest typed, so it is filled in next time | Until you clear it |
| pulsedesk.signupAttribution | sessionStorage | Only if you accepted analytics on our website: where your visit came from, kept until you finish signing up | Until the sign-up is complete or the tab is closed |
| desktime.sidebarCollapsed | localStorage | Whether the side menu is collapsed | Until you clear it |
| pulsedesk.lucy.* | localStorage | Your recent conversation with Lucy, the AI assistant, so it is still there after a reload | Until you start a new chat or clear it |
| pulsedesk.embedded, pulsedesk.celebration.* | sessionStorage / localStorage | Interface state, such as a banner you closed | Until the tab is closed or the day ends |
Some pages show icons of the apps and websites in your activity. To display them, your browser may load these small images from public icon services. Owners who open the location map load map images from OpenStreetMap. The contact page on our website shows our office locations on embedded OpenStreetMap maps. These services receive the usual technical information that any image request includes, such as your IP address.
5. Desktop applications
The PulseDesk desktop applications keep your sign-in session and settings in the application's own storage on your computer, so that tracking continues after a restart. Signing out removes the session.
6. How to control storage
You can delete cookies and localStorage at any time in your browser settings (usually under "Privacy" or "Site data"). If you delete the dashboard's storage you will be signed out and your preferences will reset. Blocking storage entirely may stop the dashboard from working.
On our website you can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
7. Changes and contact
We will update this policy if we change how we use cookies or storage. Questions: privacy@mypulsedesk.com.
