This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service of PulseDesk, provided by Londonist Yazılım ve Teknolojileri A.Ş. It applies to every customer and every user. We may suspend or end access if it is not followed.
1. Lawful and transparent monitoring
PulseDesk is a tool for transparent workplace analytics. Customers must:
- install and use the desktop application only on computers they own or are entitled to manage, for work purposes;
- tell their employees and other users, before tracking starts, what PulseDesk collects (for example working time, applications, websites, screenshots, location or recordings), why, how long it is kept and who can see it;
- have a lawful basis for the monitoring and obtain any required consent or approval from employee representatives;
- keep monitoring proportionate - only enable features such as screenshots, location or recordings where they are necessary, and set sensible retention periods and permissions.
Customers must not:
- use PulseDesk for covert or secret monitoring, or install the desktop application on someone's computer without their knowledge;
- try to hide, disguise or remove the tray icon or the notice the application shows to users;
- install PulseDesk on personal devices without the owner's informed agreement, or use it to track people outside working time against their wishes;
- monitor anyone under 18, or anyone who is not their employee, contractor or other authorised user;
- use PulseDesk to infer or record sensitive characteristics (such as health, religion, political opinions, trade union membership or sexual orientation) without a lawful basis;
- deliberately capture passwords, payment card data or other secrets through screenshots;
- record calls or meetings without informing the participants - PulseDesk asks every participant for consent when a recording starts, and this must not be circumvented.
2. Fair decisions
PulseDesk metrics such as productivity, effectiveness, idle time and AI answers are aids, not verdicts. Customers must not take decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person - such as dismissal, discipline or pay - based solely on automated metrics or AI output, without meaningful human review and giving the person the opportunity to explain.
3. Communication features
When using chat, meetings, announcements, documents or drive, users must not:
- harass, threaten, discriminate against or defame anyone;
- share unlawful, infringing, sexually explicit or violent content;
- send spam, malware or phishing links;
- share personal data of others without a legitimate reason;
- invite outside guests to meetings for unlawful purposes.
4. Protecting the service
Users must not:
- try to access data, organisations or accounts they are not authorised to access, or bypass permissions;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service, or carry out load tests, without our written permission - security researchers can contact security@mypulsedesk.com;
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the desktop application or the service, except where the law allows it;
- interfere with or overload the service, or use bots or scripts outside the documented API;
- resell, sublicense or offer the service to third parties without our agreement;
- use the service to build a competing product.
5. AI features
Users must not use Lucy or AI summaries to generate unlawful content, to attempt to obtain data they are not permitted to see, or to manipulate the assistant into ignoring its rules.
6. Reporting misuse
If you believe PulseDesk is being used in breach of this policy - including if you are an employee who thinks you are being monitored unlawfully - please contact your employer first, or write to us at legal@mypulsedesk.com. We take reports seriously and may share them with the customer concerned or with authorities where appropriate.
